Humanity, long confined to land and sea travel, sees the greatest minds in Eastern Europe give birth to a new technology: aircraft. These steam-powered behemoths sailed freely through the skies, alternating between combat and innovation, supporting the expansion of their respective empires. As the years passed, the world came to accept that no one faction would gain the upper hand for long. In the hope of easing the conflicts, the leaders of Europe decide to meet each year to announce a new way to settle the disputes between the factions.
This Scythe expansion adds two new modules that can be played together or separately, regardless of the number of players, with or without the other expansions. These modules offer more strategic options that the player can choose to use or not. We recommend that new players try out the basic Scythe game before moving on to this expansion.
