Set a Watch is a cooperative game in which you will have to explore and secure 9 locations to prevent the acolytes of the Damned from breaking the seals that hold him prisoner. In Set A Watch, you play as valiant Adventurers, charged with defending the kingdom from the perils that threaten it. You have just learned that vile conspirators are seeking to bring back to life an ancient enemy, an evil Damned One whom you had fought and defeated before he could ravage these lands. So it is up to you, the powerful protectors of the kingdom, to pursue the evil slain through these wild lands and put an end to their evil deeds. Wander the kingdom, explore abandoned ruins or creature-infested caves, eradicate the conspirators and eliminate the threat... or we will all perish in darkness.
In each round your group will visit a new place and will have to choose an Adventurer to stay at the camp and carry out some specific actions. The rest of the group will have to stand guard during the approaching night and face creatures trying to raze your camp and destroy you. Each round of Set A Watch is a sort of puzzle: you have a limited number of dice and actions, and it is up to you to make the best use of them to face enemies that gradually reveal themselves. It's up to you to make the right choices! Use your dice to fight or activate unique abilities, and use your cunning to solve the puzzle before you.
