The twelve-sided power stones behave strangely, appearing in all twelve realms and causing chaos everywhere! You are the members of the king's council and it is your job to solve all these problems. But behind the scenes, a greater danger is lurking: The royal stone of power is slowly robbing its owner of his life force... The Council of 12 is a game for 2 to 4 players aged 10 and over. It is the sequel to the famous game "The King of the 12". Unlike its counterpart, The Council of 12 is fully cooperative and its difficulty level is adjustable. Here, the aim is to collectively manipulate the central d12 according to the requirements of the cards in hand. The Council of 12 is completely self-contained, but builds on the popular core elements of The King of 12. Characters are played and cancelled again and dice are manipulated.
The game includes many different challenges to overcome, as well as an ever-changing selection of characters to help you do so. Let chance decide the composition of the challenge set, or tailor it to the level of difficulty you want in your quest for the highest score. Cooperative: You play your cards face down. If you can correctly guess which cards your teammates will play, it will greatly help you solve the puzzle posed by the challenge. But even if things don't go as planned, you'll often still have a chance to master the challenge - provided you can spot it! If you survive 7 challenges, you will be able to face your final task: securing the succession by forging an agreement between all players.
