The crazy pirate outfit of Redbeard knows something about it: shipwrecks and other damage to galleys, however shiny, are commonplace in the oceans of 50 BC. And, most of the time, the two most famous Gauls in the known world are no strangers to the woes of these seafarers. What could be more natural, then, than to see a naval battle in the Asterix game box collection in the colours of the well named album La Galère d'Obélix? The game board is magnificent and, of course, the pirate ship is there. But also the imperial galley Ave César, an admiral galley, a Roman galley and finally a boat.
