Each player is the director of a small zoo. Players try to fill their enclosures with animal and landscape tiles. Points are awarded for both at the end of the game. Once the enclosures are full, excess animals must go into the barn, where they score minus points. The player with the most points wins.

Zooloretto Mini est le petit frère de Zooloretto, le jeu de l'année 2007 en Allemagne. Comme dans Zooloretto, Chaque joueur dirige un zoo qu'il doit aménager et où il doit faire venir de nouveaux animaux, afin de marquer des points à la fin de la partie. Avec des règles plus simples, une durée de jeu réduite et moins de matériel, Zooloretto Mini est un excellent jeu d'initiation ou de voyage.
