France is known for its massive use of nuclear energy. This is reflected in the game by a larger supply of uranium at the beginning of the game and faster access to the first nuclear power plant. Paris, the capital, is the largest metropolis in this country and is therefore represented by a "triple" city, which is therefore an interesting target for power plant operators. But too much interest in Paris can be detrimental to a careless gambler!
In Italy, resources are more limited than elsewhere. Coal and oil are quickly becoming scarce and expensive. When you add to this the connection costs in some areas of the country that are relatively high because of its natural geography, players will quickly realize that money is running out.
